Provides automatic material-from-air separation. The descriptions
will provide you will information.
Filter Receiver
The Filter Receiver provides automatic material-from-air separation.
- Designed for automatic material/air separation in vacuum or pressure
transfer or systems.
- Tangential material inlet located in the receiver’s hopper.
- Continuous reverse-air cleaned filter media, air accumulator, and control
valves. Only a single row of filters is pulsed at a time, leaving the remaining
filters on-line.
- Wide selection of filter media from Premier’s standard polyester felt to
cartridge filters and PTFE membrane, providing 15 to 1728 sq. ft. filter media.
- Solid state timer board and solenoid valves enclosed in a NEMA 4 electrical
enclosure. The timer board allows easy adjustment of the frequency and duration
of each pulse, as well as displaying which row of bags is currently being pulsed.
- Optional NEMA 9 explosion proof enclosure.
- Optional explosion relief vents to accommodate material classified as St-1, St-2,
or St-3 by the U.S. Bureau of Mines.
- 120-volt, 1-phase, 60-cycle power source.
- Differential pressure gauge kit, reading 0-15 in. WC.
- Quick-opening access door, allowing easy access to the filter bags and cages for
cleaning or replacement.
- Support stand and service platform available.
- Carbon steel construction with epoxy-coated interior.
- Optional 316 or 304 stainless steel construction.
Automatic Bin Vents
Mounted atop a storage tank, the automatic bin vent filters the exhaust air and literally
allows the tank to breathe.
- Designed for filtering exhaust air as material is conveyed into the storage tank.
- Continuous reverse-air cleaned filter media, air accumulator, and control valves. Only a
single row of filters is pulsed at a time, leaving the remaining filters on-line.
- Wide selection of filter media from Premier’s standard polyester felt to cartridge filters
and PTFE membrane, providing 17 to 1152 sq. ft. filter media.
- Solid state timer board and solenoid valves enclosed in a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure. The
timer board allows easy adjustment of the frequency and duration of each pulse, as well as
displaying which row of bags is currently being pulsed.
- Optional NEMA 9 explosion proof enclosure.
- 120-volt, 1-phase, 60-cycle power source.
- Differential pressure gauge kit, reading 0-15 in. WC.
- Quick-opening access door, allowing easy access to the filter bags and cages for cleaning or
replacement.
- Exhaust fan to overcome the pressure differential across the filter bags, ensuring that pressure
does not build up inside the tank.
- Carbon steel construction with epoxy-coated interior.
- Optional safety grid, tank mounting flange, and ladder for easy access to the timer board and
fan inspection.
- Optional bin vent hopper for a bin vent located at ground level beside the tank.
Modular Cartridge Bin Vents
Provides excellent air filtration at a low cost.
- Designed for filtering exhaust air as material is conveyed into the storage tank.
- Modular design and overall height (34" from tank flange) allows the operator to perform
maintenance from the tank deck without tools.
- Mounts to a 20-inch standard tank flange.
- Reverse-air cleaned filter cartridge, air accumulator, and control valve.
- 100 sq. ft., spunbond polyester filter cartridge.
- Solid state timer board and solenoid valves enclosed in a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure. One
timer panel services up to six units. The timer board allows easy adjustment of the frequency
and duration of each pulse, and pulses one unit at a time leaving the remaining units on-line
for filtration.
- Quick-release clamp allows fast disassembly for filter cartridge maintenance.
- Carbon steel construction with epoxy-coated interior, or stainless steel material contact.
- Optional tank mounting flange.
Cyclones
When the material is of a consistency and weight suitable for cyclonic separation, a cyclone is
used in place of a filter. The cyclone has no moving parts, no bags to clean, and plant air and
electricity are not needed for operation.
- Designed for handling clean, pelletized materials without fines.
- Its cyclonic separation of material and air allows the material to discharge from the bottom of the
cyclone while the conveying air exhausts at the top.
- Can be used as a receiver in applications where the location does not allow for maintenance of a
cloth-based filter; i.e., positioned on top of a storage tank with a secondary filter located at ground level.
- Can be used in size classification systems where material is being passed through a screener
and small amounts of material remain in the exhaust airstream to be reintroduced into the
conveying line downstream.
- Used as a receiver/separator in Premier’s single-blower, vacuum/pressure rail unload system.
- Wide range of sizes.
- Carbon steel, aluminum or stainless steel construction.
